A beautiful way to spend your holiday

For those who haven’t yet decided which Spanish destination to choose for their holiday, I strongly recommend the charming villages along the Costa Blanca. You will find something special waiting for you in every single one of them, and you will have enough memories to last a lifetime. Start your journey with Guardamar del Segura; having the Segura River murmuring at its feet, you will be welcomed by a wonderful view. Unfortunately, the old parts of the village as well as the castle were destroyed by an earthquake. The locals rebuilt it closer to the water of the sea, but another disaster occurred: the sand dunes started to move, so numerous trees were planted. Today, these trees form a spectacular park which offers you the shade you need in the hot summer days.

Continuing the journey

While you are on the Costa Blanca, make a stop in Orihuela. Orihuela will impress you with its rich history. The village seems to have been inhabited since the Bronze Era, and then the Romans came and made it flourish. It was also under Moorish rule and all these civilizations left something behind them, marks about their passing, fingerprints on every building and every monument. Torrevieja will then wait for you with a very lively atmosphere, wonderful beaches with white sand and crystal clear waters. It has been transformed into a seaside resort with a lot of facilities at the disposal of tourists, so spend a few days there, you won’t regret it!

Visiting Ciudad Quesada and Formentera del Segura

Ciudad Quesada is the newest town on the Costa Blanca, a town which was built with the purpose of becoming a place where tourists could spend a few relaxing days in a modern environment. The architects succeeded in this, so if you want some days of relaxation, visit Ciudad Quesada. Formentera del Segura is a village where the Christians and the Moors left their marks on the spirit, the charm, the atmosphere and its traditions. People are very welcoming and lively and this makes Formentera a place where the fiestas are like home.

Rojales and Almoradi

Rojales is not very big, but its open-hearted inhabitants managed to keep the true Spanish spirit alive. It is the perfect place to get into direct contact with the traditions and the customs of Spaniards. Almoradi is a little bit strange: it has a water tribunal where all the problems concerning water are solved. Visit Costa Blanca!
